OKAY GUYS!!
I've reached the point of my college career where I have to think about thesis ideas. Right now I have two ideas. One really solid and one kind of out there.
The really solid idea is "Art and Architectural influence on Game Design and Development". Basically, after playing through a few games (no names) I've noticed they take from real places when they design their worlds. Specifically in Assassin's Creed and Zelda. I figure I can focus on how it affects world design, environmental design, and how they do research.
The up in the air design is the decrease in realism in modern art. As in how a lot of the newer art (that I've seen) isn't as realistic and more unconventional, especially when compared to Renaissance and Baroque. I have no idea on the focus or anything.
OH! And while typing this, I thought about someone just focusing on medieval architecture. It's my favorite architectural time period. But my favorite painting period is baroque and my favorite sculpture time period is probably classicalism with the exception of Bernini. If you don't know who he is, he is the god of marble sculpture.

How unkind of the world to let the first post of 2014 go unnoticed. Haven't checked in on blogger in a very very long time... I wonder what choice you went with in the end? Picking ideas for this reminds me of picking topics for Personal Project in IB. Blablabla hope life is well.
