HvZ Survivor!

HvZ is an intense game of tag between two teams, the Humans, and the Zombies. It is played on college campus' around the United States, and I believe international as well. My college campus just had a week long game. I survived it even with the whole mod team against us.

In the beginning, it was humans versus zombies, but once mission one was over, it was humans versus moderators versus zombies. And the moderators were winning. Humans were being picked off one by one until the 30 or so humans made it to the final mission. The final mission is usually the hardest one, but with the help of Drac this one wasn't so bad. Even with the silly moderators making us use only single shot weapons. (Apparently when the bus exploded on our campus, they just HAD to add that into the story line.) The humans had to run literally across campus, and then from there to the middle of campus (3.1 miles total). I didn't mind this. The humans ended up breaking off into groups. One group had a traitor among them. She had planned to sacrifice her entire group for her own survival. Now this wouldn't be a problem if she would have avoided the zombies until the trap, but she ran into the entire horde and died. That was one girl down. The other girl, besides myself died honorably by fighting off 15 zombies before falling to the hands of the horde.

The evac zone was surrounded by zombies. So Drac and I's group decided to rush, only one death happened. It was stated in the rules that a female and a male had to survive for it to be a human victory. The humans met this rule and it was a flawless victory.

It was a fun game, but not the best one I've seen. Leave a comment and tell me what you think of HvZ! And if you want to see the video blog click here

  2. I hope UCLA has HVZ cause I'll need something to give me inspiration for the zombie movie I'm writing. Hopefully UCLA has a good film program.
